Heartfall Team 3 route guide

Updated 2026-10-15 · Last checked 2026-10-15

Team 3 follows Live, Laugh, Divorce. This v1.01 guide covers the entry decision, progression checkpoints, and 5 registered story endings. Keep a separate save before leaving the opening route.

We checked the unencrypted data in the official free Linux v1.01 build on 15 October 2026. These are data-derived route and ending conditions, not a claim that we played every branch. Later patches can change them. We do not redistribute the game, dialogue scripts, or ending artwork.

Route entry and branching decision

In the opening hobbit-hole subplot, accept Scott and Jimmy’s invitation to move to Flower Valley. Continue their request for sand and explosives. Declining the invitation leaves the hobbit-hole option instead.

Event reference: extend-S1hobbit-hole-subplot / S1_ChooseYourOwnHobbitHole / outcome2 or outcome3 -> LLD1.

Progression and key choices

The session IDs below identify progression in v1.01; they are not a universal chapter count shared by every route. Complete the active quest before moving to the next checkpoint.

  1. LLD1: talk to Jimmy, gather Mystic Sand to open the valley, and complete Martyn’s lapis errand.
  2. LLD2-LLD3: finish the home-decoration trades, new-alliance errands, and trap objectives. Chick Chance becomes available in the route’s side activity.
  3. For the chicken branch, complete the final Chick Chance interaction while you have diamonds; LLD0Final outcome1 sets lld_chicken_ending_unlock.
  4. LLD4-LLD6: follow the alliance meeting, trial aftermath, move back into the valley, and flower search.
  5. LLD7: warn Jimmy about the lava trap to increase Scott’s reputation, or do nothing to reduce it. At the last duel, the deciding choice is who takes on Martyn.
Ending conditions

Good reputation means the game passes its named good-reputation check. We do not invent numerical reputation thresholds. Conditions apply to this route, not every appearance of the same character.

EndingRequired branch or conditionBuild ID
Love WinsAt LLD7DuelChoice, take on Martyn yourself. In the following conversation, use either ordinary reply rather than the chicken-only reply.lld_love_wins
Love LosesAt LLD7DuelChoice, let Scott go. Follow the final Jimmy conversation to the Love Loses transition.lld_love_loses
Hate LosesAt the last duel, let Jimmy go while Scott has good reputation. The hatefulness check selects Hate Loses.lld_hate_loses
Hate WinsLet Jimmy go while Scott does not have good reputation. This is a real ending transition, but v1.01 marks its gallery entry hidden.lld_hate_wins
Happily Eggver AfterSet lld_chicken_ending_unlock through the final Chick Chance interaction, take on Martyn yourself, then choose the reply crediting the chickens.lld_chicken_ending
