Heartfall Team 9 route guide

Updated 2026-10-15 · Last checked 2026-10-15

Team 9 follows The Court of Last Chances. This v1.01 guide covers the entry decision, progression checkpoints, and 3 registered story endings. Keep a separate save before leaving the opening route.

We checked the unencrypted data in the official free Linux v1.01 build on 15 October 2026. These are data-derived route and ending conditions, not a claim that we played every branch. Later patches can change them. We do not redistribute the game, dialogue scripts, or ending artwork.

Route entry and branching decision

On MR3, follow the goose in the forest, then agree to sabotage the Mystic Tree Grove. Following the goose without accepting the sabotage does not select the Court branch.

Progression and key choices

The session IDs below identify progression in v1.01; they are not a universal chapter count shared by every route. Complete the active quest before moving to the next checkpoint.

  1. FC2: help Lizzie with berries, investigate Mumbo’s geese, and plan the tea party.
  2. FC3-FC5: finish court repairs and supplies, follow the food objectives, and respond to the escaped goose.
  3. FC6-FC7: complete the enchanter theft with Gem and finish the party preparations.
  4. FC6 checks fc_ending2_count >=8 to set fc_scar_dead. Earlier increments include rebuking Scar at the FC2 bush, warning him against escape in FC3 ScarChat, staying silent to Lizzie in FC3 LizzieMad, and staying quiet at the FC6 Dogwarts confrontation. Avoid enough of these counter-raising replies to remain below eight for the Scar-alive branch.
  5. If Scar survives, complete the Lizzie gratitude and Scar/Pearl party conversations; the final Scar offer selects A Home Where You Are.
  6. If fc_scar_dead is present, complete the Mumbo and Pearl solo party conversations. The final offer checks Mumbo, Pearl, Gem, and Lizzie for good reputation in sequence. All four unlock Pearl’s rewind; any failed check loads LeaveCourt.
Ending conditions

Good reputation means the game passes its named good-reputation check. We do not invent numerical reputation thresholds. Conditions apply to this route, not every appearance of the same character.

EndingRequired branch or conditionBuild ID
A Home Where You AreRemain below eight fc_ending2_count increments at the FC6 check so Scar survives, complete the party/gratitude conversations, and finish ScarOffer2 in FC7.fc_ending1
Minutes Past MidnightReach at least eight fc_ending2_count increments at the FC6 check to enter the Scar-dead branch. Fail any good-reputation check for Mumbo, Pearl, Gem, or Lizzie in the finale, then finish LeaveCourt.fc_ending2
Dusk to DawnReach the Scar-dead branch through the FC6 counter check (at least eight), then pass all four finale good-reputation checks for Mumbo, Pearl, Gem, and Lizzie and finish Pearl’s rewind conversation.fc_ending3
